Parts
| There are many alignment aids available from
CARQUEST Chassis Parts. These parts can be found in the CARQUEST Alignment Product Catalog and are used to bring vehicles into proper specification. Be sure to ask your customer if they need any of these important alignment aids, in addition to their chassis parts needs. |

Alignment Parts, continued
Shims
Shims can vary in thickness from 1/4” to 1/64”. If there is insufficient adjustment available this is an indication of a problem. |

Cams (and Cam
bolts)
Cams can vary in diameter and location. Cams can be used for camber or caster and toe adjustment and are usually sold with a new bolt. |

Cam Plate Adjusting Kits

These enable precise, easily controlled adjustments, and install with no drilling or modifying required. |
Bushings (below)
Offset bushings are available for camber/caster change on front suspensions and toe adjustment on some rear suspensions.

Rear Contact Shims
(above)
Full-contact rear shims fit between the axle and hub. The shims can be used for camber and toe change. After an initial alignment reading, the necessary change can be calculated using the chart provided in the instructions.
Full-contact shims are manufactured from non-corrosive materials and are accurate to one-tenth
of a degree.
Full-contact shims can be used to set camber or toe, or to correct camber and toe simultaneously.
