Types
Types of Alignments
The type of alignment service performed will depend on the equipment capability, vehicle need, and degree of adjustment
possible.
FRONT WHEEL ALIGNMENT
The traditional wheel alignment in which the front wheels are aligned to the vehicle centerline. |
 |
THRUST ALIGNMENT
The front wheels are aligned to the rear axle. The drive direction of the rear axle is referred to as the thrust angle. The thrust angle and geometric center of the vehicle should be the
same, but small variations can exist on non adjustable rear axles
that must be compensated for. |
|
 |
FOUR WHEEL ALIGNMENT
All four wheels are individually aligned to the geometric centerline. |
